About David Meyers

David received his B.S. from Drake University, earning a double major in human resource management and home office insurance in 1981. David spent over 25 years in human resources, including 16 years with Sanfilippo and Sons, a major food company as head of human resources with responsibility for all labor and employee relations, recruitment, worker’s compensation and benefits procurement, and administration. He also served as plan administrator and fiduciary for their employee retirement plan. David earned the designation of senior professional in human resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute. David along with his wife, Dori, and her siblings, established the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Chair in Hematology/Oncology at the IU School of Medicine in 2015. Meyers has also supported the Department of Medicine, Herron School of Art & Design, among other designations.
