About Christopher M. Berry

Christopher M. Berry earned his B.A. in psychology from Whitworth College in 2000. Upon completion, he continued his education at the University of Minnesota where he earned his Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology in 2007. He joined the Indiana University (IU) Kelley School of Business faculty in 2014 as an associate professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship. In 2018, he was titled the John F. Mee Chair of Management.

Prior to joining the IU faculty, Berry held teaching positions at Wayne State University and Texas A&M University. His areas of expertise include human resource management, organizational behavior, job performance, counterproductive work behavior, organizational citizenship behavior, and fairness/validity of pre-employment tests. He has authored several articles and papers related to these topics and more that were published in premier business and psychology journals, including the Journal of Applied Psychology, the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and the Organizational Behavior of Human Decision Processes.

Throughout his robust teaching career, Berry has been recognized with a variety of honors and awards. To name a few, Berry was the recipient of the Exceptional Inspiration and Guidance Award from the Kelley School of Business Doctoral Student Association (2018-2019), a Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology fellow (elected 2019), and the associate editor of the Journal of Applied Psychology (2014-2020).
