Robert Baldwin Harris, Professor Emeritus of Economics and Director Emeritus of the Center for Economic Education, graduated from Ohio State University with a B.A. (1968), M.A. (1970), and PhD (1979). His academic interests included public finance and economic education for teachers.
Dr. Harris received the Trustee Teaching Award in multiple years. He served as Economic Education Consultant to California's Superintendent of Public Instruction 1988-90, and was a faculty participant in Khanya College (South Africa Project). Additionally, between the years 1994-2003, he was among the faculty for numerous training programs for economic educators in Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia, the Baltics, the Balkans, Japan, China, and Kyrgyzstan.
