About Mary A. Cooksey

Mary Ange Cooksey is a Senior Lecturer of Humanities at Indiana University East. Her teaching and research focuses on biomedical ethics, death and dying, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Prior to coming to Indiana University, she was a lecturer at Ball State University, where she also served as the Coordinator for Freshman Year Experiences in its honors college.

In 2020, Mary Cooksey was presented the Bicentennial Medal for her distinguished service to Indiana University.
