About Barbara A. Born

Barbara A. Born was life-partner to Robert D. Albrecht, a first-generation college student and 1964 graduate of the IU School of Social Work. Because Albrecht's education had been made possible by a scholarship, he had always wanted to pay it forward and provide financial assistance to other deserving students. As a result, Born created a scholarship in Albrecht's honor.
