Trevor Foughty is the associate vice president of state relations at Indiana University. Foughty earned a B.A. degree from Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN. He served as campaign manager for Sen. Todd Young, R-Indiana, who was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016. Before that, Foughty was the deputy chief of staff and communications director for Young's U.S. House of Representatives office. He has handled communications responsibilities for the Indiana Republican Party and the political action committee of then-Governor Mitch Daniels. He has served as the assistant communications director for the Indiana Department of Education and campaign manager for various state and congressional campaigns around the state of Indiana.
Foughty received the IU Bicentennial Medal in August 2019 in recognition of his distinguished service as associate vice president of state relations for Indiana University.
