Todd Terrill earned a B.S. in physical education, teaching and coaching from Maranatha Baptist University. He also received an M.A. in educational administration and supervision and an Ed.D. in educational leadership and administration, both from Ball State University. He spent time at Indiana State University studying to be an educational specialist in educational leadership.
Terrill is currently serving as superintendent of schools for Crown Point Community School Corporations in Richmond, Indiana. Crown Point has seven elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school with nearly 8,800 students combined. He has extensive experience in education management, including setting up training and leadership programs, partnerships with colleges, and relationships with local businesses. Previously, he was superintendent of Richmond Community Schools, a district about two hours east of Indianapolis with about 4,800 students. Terrill’s earlier background includes working as a gym teacher, a football, track and basketball coach, and assistant principal.
In 2019, Terrill was awarded Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished service and dedicated leadership to education.
