Janet Seabrook received a B.S. in biology from Tuskegee University, a degree in medicine from Meharry Medical College, and an M.B.A. from Purdue University Calumet.
Seabrook is CEO of Community HealthNet, a not-for-profit, community-based primary healthcare organization that provides accessible, affordable and quality medical services to families and individuals of all income levels. She also serves as an influential advocate for state funding in support of community health centers in Northwest Indiana.
Seabrook has spoken to numerous groups and organizations on issues related to health care, insurance and progressive medical breakthroughs. Seabrook also serves as a member of the IU Northwest Chancellor’s Advisory Board. In 2019, Seabrook received Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of her distinguished service and support of the university.
