About Stephen R. Springer

Springer was previously a director of DCP Midstream Partners, LP, a New York Stock Exchange Company. Springer has been a director of Atmos Energy since 2005. His career experience includes over three decades in the energy industry, both regulated and unregulated. He has served in leadership roles at Texas Gas Transmission Corporation, Transco Energy Company and The Williams Companies.

Springer’s knowledge of the natural gas industry is based on his experience in the natural gas transmission, marketing, supply, transportation, business development, distribution and gathering and processing segments of the industry.

Springer has served as a member of the boards of DCP Midstream Partners, LP and the Indiana University Foundation. In 2019, Springer was awarded IU’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished contributions and service to the university.
