Jeffrey A. Harrison received a B.S. in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Indiana University. His association with IU has continued over the years, including dedicated service on the advisory boards of the Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, IU Health, and IUPUI chancellor.
Jeffrey is the president and chief executive officer of Citizens Energy Group, responsible for maintaining the strategic direction for the organization, ensuring operational and financial prowess and committing to the vitality and success of central Indiana. Jeffrey has served the utility industry for three decades. He has held positions as executive vice president and chief operating officer, senior vice president of engineering and sustainability, vice president of capital programs and engineering, vice president of engineering and facilities management, vice president of manufacturing, and corporate strategist.
Jeffrey serves on the boards of directors for 16 Tech Community Corporation, American Gas Association, Center for Leadership Development, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, FBI of Indiana Citizens Academy Alumni Association, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Goodwill Inc., Indiana Energy Association, Indiana State Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Sports Corp, Indianapolis Public Safety Foundation, Indianapolis Zoo, Indy Chamber of Commerce, Indy Championships Fund, Indiana University Health, IUPUI Board of Advisors, Indianapolis Urban League, Marian University, Multiplying Good Central Indiana Advisory Board, Richard M. Fairbanks Foundation, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, The Nature Conservancy, United Way of Central Indiana, and YMCA of Greater Indianapolis. In 2019, Harrison received Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished contributions and support of the university.
