Robert A. Palmer received an undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky.
Palmer is the owner of IndyJet at Indianapolis Regional Airport. He is also a pilot. Palmer spent over three decades with the company FedEx, serving in numerous leadership positions, including vice president and general manager of air, ground and freight services.
Palmer is dedicated to serving the community surrounding him, and currently serves on the boards of United Way of Central Indiana and University of Indianapolis. Palmer has been recognized with honors and awards, including the Eagle Scout Award, and the Junior Achievement National Leadership Award. In 2019, Palmer was awarded Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished contributions and service.
