Shelley Raper received a B.S. in management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. She remains strongly connected to the university and the school, and serves on several Alumni boards.
Raper is currently the director of development at the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. Previously, she served as the Director of Business Development at Markey's Rental & Staging for almost a decade, where her areas of responsibility included new business development, growing existing business, new market research and formalizing partnerships. Prior to that, Raper worked in the sports industry specializing in marketing, sponsorships, premium suite sales, event operations and volunteer management. Raper also has experience serving as the senior vice president of Business Development and director of the Youthlinks Indiana Charity Golf Tournament at Indiana Sports Corporation. She has also held sales positions at two professional teams; the Indianapolis Colts and the Indianapolis Ice, and has also held numerous positions in the banking industry with Union Federal Bank.
Raper is actively involved in the community, including serving on IU’s Kelley School of Business Alumni Association board of directors, and as a member of Indiana University Alumni Association’s Executive Council. Raper is also a member of IU’s Alumni Association Finance Committee, the Kelley Diversity, Equity and Inclusion task force, and the 2021 NCAA Men’s Final Four Indianapolis Local Organizing Committee. In 2019, she was honored with Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal in recognition of her distinguished service and longstanding support of the university.
