Julie Ann Davis received a B.S. in marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. A dedicated supporter of Indiana University, Davis is a founding member and chair of the IU Foundation's Women's Philanthropy Leadership Council.
Davis is director of business development for Worth New York, a fashion women’s apparel company. The luxury clothing brand is uniquely sold in the homes and selected venues of their national network of professional sales associates. Prior experience includes a leadership role of corporate buyer of associated dry goods for Lord & Taylor. In this role she evaluated individual store needs and directed necessary uptrending and downtrending departments and businesses.
Davis’s volunteer experience is lengthy, and includes serving as a board member and associate representative of the Children’s Museum Guild, past board member and associate member of the Christamore House Guild, and past chair of the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana. She is a member of the IU Foundation’s board of directors, Dress for Success emeritus board, IMA Fashion Arts Society executive board, and the Women’s Philanthropy Council at IU. Davis has received numerous honors and awards, including the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service (1998), the Indiana Commission for Women Torchbearer Award for Philanthropy (2006) and the Mayor’s Community Service Award (2008). In 2019, Davis received Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of her distinguished contributions and support of the university.
