Dr. Cheryl Kinney completed her residency at Indiana University and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She serves on the Dean's Advisory Board at the university.
Kinney is a doctor at the Center for Female Health and Hormone Disorders in Dallas, Texas, and she has privileges at Medical City Dallas Hospital and the North Central Surgery Center. Kinney's practice is centered around adult and adolescent gynecology, menopause, sexual dysfunction, endometriosis, and pelvic surgery. She also lectures all over the world on issues relating to gynecology as well as health and sickness in 18th and 19th century British novels.
Kinney has been recognized with numerous honors and awards for her professional accomplishments. She has been listed in "Best Doctors in America" yearly since 2001, has been named by the Consumer's Research Council as one of "America's Top Obstetricians and Gynecologist" yearly since 2002, and was named a "Texas Super Doctor" by her peers for 13 years, and is a "Patient's Choice Award" five-year honoree. She serves on the National Advisory Board for the Laura W. Bush Institute of Women's Health. In 2019, Kinney received Indiana University's Bicentennial Medal in recognition of her distinguished contributions.
