Janice A. Ramsay received a B.A. from Indiana University, and a J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law.
Ramsay began a legal career in the property insurance field more than 40 years ago. During her law practice, she gave coverage advice to insurers and to insureds, and handled bad faith litigation and appeals. Ramsay began her insurance law career after working for a few years for a government funded assistance project in South Central Los Angeles.
Ramsay has been featured in various magazine articles; she is an OCBA Insurance Law Section Spotlight attorney, a member of Indiana University College of Arts and Sciences Dean’s Advisory Board, and a member of the Board of Counselors University of San Francisco School of Law. She was the 2014 Chair of the Orange County Bar Association Insurance Law Section.
