About Kimberly Hannel

Kimberly Hannel received a B.A. in English and Spanish, as well as an M.A. in journalism, both from Indiana University. In addition to working for the university, Hannel serves on the College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Board. Hannel is a news editor with Indiana University Communications, serving on the IUPUI campus.

Hannel previously served on IU’s Journalism Alumni Board, and is a founding member of IUPUI’s School of Journalism Alumni Council. In 2019, Hannel received Indiana University’s Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of her service and support of the university.
