Currently, Straight No Chaser has sold more than 1.6 million albums in the U.S. and amassed more than 100 million YouTube views. In 2009, Atlantic Record's Straight No Chaser won the CARA award for Best Holiday Album and was nominated for Best Holiday Song. In 2019, Roberts received Indiana University's Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished contributions and longstanding friendship with the university.
