Betty Russo is the vice chancellor for advancement at Indiana University Southeast and member of the IU Southeast's Chancellor's Cabinet. She is responsible for leadership, management and coordination of accounting, alumni engagement, finance and fundraising. She also develops and implements a variety of programs, and provides corporation and foundation support for IUS.
Russo came to IUS from East Stroudsburg University Foundation where she was the vice president for development and chief operating officer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Albright College, and a master's degree from Alvernia University. She is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning.
Russo received the IU Bicentennial Medal in June 2020 in recognition of her distinguished service to IU Southeast.
