Bicentennial Medal - 2019

About David Ryan

David Ryan received a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from Indiana University's business school. Ryan's relationship with the university has continued since his collegiate days; he currently serves on IU Northwest's Board of Directors.

Ryan is executive director of Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, a leadership position he has held for over fifteen years. He is skilled in nonprofit organizations, crisis communications, government, event management and media relations. Prior experience includes serving as a manager of communications and public affairs at Northern Indiana Public Service Company (NIPSCO).

In 2019, Ryan was awarded Indiana University's Bicentennial Medal, in recognition of his distinguished service and longstanding support of the university.
